The Ojai Valley Fire Safe Council is a community driven organization dedicated to fire safety. The Community-Supported Grazing Program is one of our flagship projects.

Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP)
The Ojai Valley Fire Safe Council is working to protect our community from the growing threat of wildfire.

CAL FIRE awards $2.7 Million to Ventura County Wildfire Collaborative Project, a collaboration between the Ojai Valley Fire Safe Council, Ventura County Resource Conservation District, Ventura Regional Fire Safe Council and Bell Canyon Fire Safe Council. This grant will fund a number of critical projects in the Ojai Valley. Funding for this project provided by the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection’s Fire Prevention Program as part of the California Climate Investments Program.

The Ojai Valley Fire Safe Council has been awarded $150,000 from the USDA State Fire Assistance grant program. This funding will be used to develop a Ojai Valley Community Wildfire Protection Plan.
